“I am not the man that I thought I would become, but I am twice the man I once thought I could be.”

This quote is the echo of my life. Middle child, low expectations, and a childhood marred by a lack of personal identity.

I am very fortunate to have been able to go places that people only dream. I have been to the great streets of Rome. I have gone into the Coliseum and walked upon its ruins. I have basked in the noonday sun of the Caribbean sky. I have sifted sand in the deserts of the Middle East.  I have even walked upon the Holy Land. I have eaten some high priced French cuisine on the French Riviera, but nothing, not-one-thing, compares to the richest blessings I get from my daily walk with Jesus Christ.

Bluntly, life without Christ is wrought with frailty, death, and despair. Is this your life today?

Years ago, I would have said that my life was a puzzle without all the pieces,  but I am glad that how you start is not necessarily how you finish. I have something else now. I would like for you to have it too. You see, I was looking for experiences to complete the puzzle that was my life. I was looking for people to complete the jigsaw puzzle that was my life. I even looked at money (though that didn’t work very long), and nothing seemed to complete the heart that was severed.

The secret to my success is not really a secret. Where I live, some would say that it is everywhere and yet, it is seldom found. It’s the whitewashed effect of Christianity that most acknowledge, and tragically, much less live by. I offer you not a quick fix nor a gimmick cure all, but an extension of something that I call grace. It is by the grace of God that I am what I am, fixed and repaired. And it is by the peace of God that have been made whole.

Is your life puzzled? Do you have all pieces in place? Or is there just that one thing you are missing?

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
